We know you have questions. The following frequently asked questions could help you better understand your choices for your son’s or daughter's higher education.
Everest is prepared to help high school students — and their families — sift through the options after high school, and start planning for a successful life. Everest regularly reaches out to students at high schools nationwide with candid discussions about their choices after high school — job, career training, college or higher education, military and other paths — to help them and their parents make informed decisions about the next step.
Everest isn’t like any other college or career training program. At Everest, your son or daughter is immersed in the kind of learning that many students prefer — hands-on in small work teams with instructors showing them what they need to learn to succeed. From the first day of class, students work with the real tools of their profession to master the skills they need, so they’re ready to perform on the first day of their new career. In Everest’s programs, your son or daughter doesn’t take classes that aren’t needed to graduate. It’s a focused training program, designed to help them succeed.
Our student finance planners are experts in helping students finance their education. They will do everything they can to make sure that money does not stand between your son or daughter and their dreams. Come in and meet with us and we will help you find a plan that is affordable for you. Financial aid is available for those who qualify.
The length of the Everest training programs depends on the program your son or daughter chooses. Many diploma programs can be completed in less than a year, and many degree programs can be completed in as little as two years. Programs vary by campus, so be sure to check with the campus nearest you about training options.*
Everest has a fully dedicated Career Services department to help graduates find the right job after graduation. While we can’t guarantee a job for every graduate, we can support and help them build the right skills so they’re better prepared to succeed. Before your son or daughter graduates, Everest will help them with interviewing tips, resume preparation and job search. We also help students find the right position with job and career fairs, local employer networks and online search sites available to Everest students.
In addition to helping students find the first job after graduation, each Everest graduate is entitled to Everest Career Services support anytime throughout their career.
